The Legacy Beam Kitchen Island is built around a commanding 3 inch thick solid reclaimed timber top and crafted entirely from structural beams that once served a greater purpose. Its proportions are intentional — substantial enough to anchor a kitchen, refined enough to remain composed.
The surface reveals authentic age: natural checking, subtle grain movement, and time-earned texture that cannot be replicated. Nothing is artificially distressed. Nothing is stained. The warmth you see is original to the wood itself.
Massive solid timber legs provide a grounded architectural presence, while a full-length floating shelf beneath adds functional storage without disrupting the structure’s visual balance.
Once milled and carefully hand-sanded, the wood reveals depth and richness that requires only a hand-applied wax finish to enhance its natural tone.
